Dr WoodMBE, MB, ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCCH, DPD, Dip/IMC (RCS Edin) DA (UK), Cert PG Med Ed.

Qualified in 1983 and joined the practice in 1995. Having previously served in the RAMC and worked as a GP in Australia he is married with three daughters. GP trainer, GP appraiser and medical student teacher (Bristol and Peninsula Medical schools), Honorary Fellow, examiner and academic tutor Peninsula Medical School.Other interests number tennis, bridge and moorland running/walking

Dr Maria-Teresa Claridge (f)

Dr ClaridgeBSc, MB, BS, MRCGP, DGM, MSC, FP Cert. NLP Master Practitioner Life Coach.

Qualified in 1986, joined the practice in 1999.  Dr Claridge is fluent in Spanish. Dr Claridge is a GP Trainer - Training Programme Director in Torbay,Dr Claridge enjoys tennis, walking, gardening and music. 

Dr Alison J Warren (f)

Dr Alison Warren has joined the practice as a Salaried GP and works on a Wednesday alongside Dr Peter Wood and will be looking after Dr M T Claridge's patients. 


Dr Warren enjoys walking her dogs (two border terriers and a northern akita inuit) she also has 2 cats and keeps tropical and cold water fish. She enjoys climbing, she also enjoys Rugby. She enjoys reading especially crime (fact and fiction) forensic pathology and autobiographies. She   also enjoys music and gardening, experimenting and developing her own garden.
